Bethany Gull

Bethany Gull is an assistant professor of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at Utah Tech University. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Utah. She has taught courses in social research methods, social theory, religion, gender, sexuality, race, and individualized studies degree development. Her research focuses primarily on religious exiting and post-exit identity and worldview construction. Additional areas of research include gender, sexuality, and health. Her research has been published in numerous academic journals and edited volumes. She is currently under contract (with Dr. Ryan Cragun) with the University of Illinois Press for a book on the relationship between Latter-day Saints’ religious and scientific views.
